Data was analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression.

Results: There were significant differences in the bioterrorism preparedness by military rank, work unit, service pattern and military experience. A statistically significant correlation was found between bioterrorism preparedness and measured variables. The predictive factors of bioterrorism preparedness were participation of preparedness education(¥â=.344) and barriers of education(¥â=-.221).

And advanced degree curriculum, which specialized in bioterrorism for the field nurses, is necessary to nurture professionals.
